European Youth Parliament

EU flagEuropean Youth Parliament (EYP) is an international initiative enabling young people to engage with European issues.

Learners represent different committees of the European Parliament and debate topics such as security, human rights, the arts, climate change and immigration.
CEWC used to run two EYP events each year: the North Wales Forum and South Wales Forum. Every school in Wales is invited to send up to 6 learners aged 15-17. One team from each Forum was selected to take part in an EYP UK National Session the following school year.

Past winners of European Youth Parliament in Wales

This is a list of schools whose learners have been selected to take part in the UK Selection Conference.

Some of them were later selected to participate in international forums on mainland Europe!
