Naomi joined the WCIA in January 2010. She holds a Bachelors degree in French from Cardiff University and a Masters Degree in Africa: Human and Sustainable Development from the University of Leeds. She has previously worked with Gender Links, Oxfam Cymru, and as an English Language Assistant in Canada.

Hannah took up the post of Hub Co-ordinator in February 2012 and will work with networks of grass roots civil society and organisation-led initiatives – diaspora communities, community and hospital links, Fairtrade and other local campaign groups – as well as major development agencies with bases in Wales such as Oxfam, Christian Aid, Tearfund and CAFOD.

Mark Charman is an experienced, qualified teacher who specialises in Philosophy for Children (P4C), an enquiry based approach to learning and teaching in which students make gains by thinking critically and creatively together. Previously, Mark has delivered projects in schools across the UK and abroad, representing organisations including the European Commission, Camden Learning and School Effectiveness, The Children’s Company and CITV.

As Project Officer, Mark is developing the work of CEWC-Cymru (schools arm of the WCIA) to enable teachers to use P4C to enhance their pupils' skills across the curriculum.

Sue first came to the WCIA on a one-year contract as the Assistant International Service Officer for what is now UNA Exchange and was offered a permanent position at the end of that period. She is currently responsible for the management of events held at the Temple of Peace by outside organisations and companies, including filming, celebratory events, conferences and examinations; along with accounting and administration duties.

Lora joined the WCIA in April 2012. She holds a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from Swansea Metropolitan University and is a Welsh speaker. She is an active volunteer with various charities including GirlGuiding UK and Women’s Aid. Lora is responsible for a wide range of office tasks, supporting all of the WCIA’s activity programmes.
