2024 National Eisteddod, Pontypridd
Over the first week of August 2024, WCIA and Academi Heddwch brought debates of world peace to the world of Wales’ National Eisteddfod, hosted by Rhondda Cynon Taff this year in venues around Pontypridd (with a ‘maes’ / main field in Ynysangharad Park) over 3-10 August 2024.

As a globally responsible nation, Wales must call on the UK to uphold its legal and moral responsibility to ensure Israel complies with the ICJ order to immediately halt its offensive in Rafah, and to ensure that the hundreds of thousands of people sheltering in Rafah are protected.

1924-2024 Women's Peace Petition Centenary
100 years ago in the aftermath of World War 1, 390,296 women across Wales signed a Peace Petition to the women of America calling for 'the proud heritage of a warless world'. Join in marking the centenary by helping to uncover this remarkable story; by transcribing the signatories; follow 'Annie's Diary' of their 1924 Peace Tour of America; and explore peace priorities for women today.
