Such a shame there isn’t a bilingual version as so much effort has been put into something beautiful that can only be read by those who are fully Welsh language conversant — which doesn’t include most Welsh people in Wales or abroad. I wanted to share with my mum, but she can’t read Welsh and mine isn’t good enough to translate the nuances. I tried my best with the 4 years study I have done because I’ve been working on the Peace Petition as a volunteer at the National Library. It is lovely to see publications like this coming out of this incredibly important project, so for the sad majority of people to miss out on these stories, and the careful curation of them by Llinos Griffin is a real shame; a loss to her and all of us.
