In September, members of the Global Education Network (GEN) met in Mollina, Spain between 11-15th September to take part in a training course on Global Education and Advocacy.
It was held as part of UYD, The University of Youth and Development. It gathered hundreds of young people, youth workers, decision makers, experts from the field and institutional representatives – providing them all with a space to meet, debate, build their capacities and cooperate on youth policy issues.
The theme of UYD2022 was “Building effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions.”
As part of this training course, we were able to gain knowledge about how to be better advocates for Global Education and gave us the opportunity to network with our colleagues from the GEN to discuss our learnings and reflections from the past year.
