On 23 May 1923 the Peace Appeal of the Women of Wales was launched at a conference held in the university at Aberystwyth. To mark the centenary of this historic event, a one-day conference has been arranged where the authors of a new book about the women’s peace appeal (to be published in November 2023 by Y Lolfa) will outline this remarkable story. Free to attend, but pre-registration is essential closing date: 19.5.23
