UNA Exchange is searching for trustees to take an active role in its vision for a Wales of globally responsible citizens.
UNA Exchange has been at the forefront of international volunteering for young people for 4X years. Last year, the charity sent and received more than 180 volunteers to and from Wales. We run volunteering experiences in Wales for Welsh young people, sparking a taste for volunteering and improving confidence and life skills. The UNA Exchange experience changes young lives for the better.
The new trustees will join a Board that offers scrutiny, challenge and support for the charity as it adapts and grows.
All Board members are volunteers, signing up to dedicate an average of 12 hours per quarter, inclusive of Board meetings and sub-committee meetings. Board meetings are typically held in the evening and occasionally on weekends.
Regarding potential trustees, the Board is particularly interested in applicants with skills and experience in:
▪ Finance
▪ Human resources
▪ Business development
▪ Legal
▪ Public relations/marketing
▪ Travel
