The beautiful Temple of Peace will be open to visitors all day from 10.30 am – 4pm.
At 11 am we will turn a page in the Book of Remembrance which bears the names of 40,000 Welsh soldiers who died during World War One.
You are welcome to join a free guided Temple tour starting at 10.45am or take a look around the exhibitions and displays on show such as the ‘Women, War and Peace’ exhibition by using the self guided tour book. Enjoy the exhibitons, visit the Crypt and the Peace Garden.
At 2.30pm a joint meeting with WCIA, Cymdeithas Y Cymod and UNA Cardiff, will take place in the afternoon in the Council Chamber. Well known peace activist, Jane Harries, will talk on ‘Peace-Making in Wales’.
