The Cuban Solidarity Campaign have organised a UK wide speaking tour by Elizabeth Ribalta Rubiera who will outline the latest situation in Cuba; and how the Cuban people have stood up to adversity through incredibly challenging times. She will be giving her only presentation in Wales at Cardiff Business School on the 31st of May 2022. Elizabeth has worked at the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) since 2014 and currently holds responsibility for North European
countries. She previously worked with young foreign students in the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM), as well as with ICAP`s North America Division working with international delegations and annual Pastors for Peace
Caravan. Previously she was a researcher at the Centre for Youth Studies on issues related to Education and Employability of adolescents. She has a degree in Psychology from the University of Havana.
