Wales for Peace is excited to open our first location for the final touring exhibition, at Llyn Brenig Visitor Centre in Cerrigydrudion, on the Conwy / Debighshire border. The ‘Whole Story’ display will tour eleven locations in eleven towns across Wales, either side of 11.11 – the centenary of the Armistice that ended WW1.
Located to the left of the cafe entrance on the first floor, the exhibition will be on show for 6 weeks from the 26th March 2018. Visitors will be able to learn about what Wales has done for peace over the last one hundred years through a series of national stories. The exhibition is accessible every day as the is the Visitor Centre. School groups are welcome by prior arrangement to engage with the exhibition, with lesson plans available with an education facilitator.
WCIA are delighted to be working with the local Gwerin y Coed / Woodcraft Folk groups to offer a children’s Peace Heritage Day over the Easter Holidays. For further information, contact info@gwerin.org.
