A fun and informative introduction to how to become a Peace School / Cyflwyniad llawn gwybodaeth a hwyl am sut i ddod yn Ysgol Heddwch.
The Peace Schools Scheme supports primary and secondary schools in Wales to develop learners as ethical, informed citizens and healthy, confident individuals. Through the scheme, learners develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity and empathy and take part in cross-curricular learning and exciting pupil-led projects.
Schools taking part in the scheme have access to a broad range of free bilingual resources and training; attend an annual conference where their school can showcase achievements; and gain a certificate and logo to be displayed on their website.
This course will give you the essential information and resources to get started on your scheme by establishing a baseline; consulting with and involving learners and staff; starting to embed peace into your school ethos and developing opportunities in the curriculum.
Staff attending this course will be ready to start implementing an action plan by September 2021. We look forward to welcoming you onto this course!
