Come and join us in making felt ‘peace daffodils.’ Daffodils are not only representative of Welsh culture but have symbolised hope since the Welsh Women’s Peace Appeal following the aftermath of the First World War. Cardboard lapel badges were handed out along with bulk orders of daffodil bulbs for ‘Daffodil Days’ which contributed to the Welsh League of Nations Union income.
The aim of this session is for participants to create two daffodils, one to take home and the other to leave behind with a message of peace.
This workshop is in collaboration with Academi Heddwch celebrating 100 years of the Women’s Peace Petition.

All materials will be provided. This is a family friendly workshop. Each daffodil should take approximately 15 minutes to make.
