Thinking of applying to Taith? Come along, share ideas, and get some project tips. CWVYS, WCIA and Boys and Girls Club of Wales are funded by Taith to support organisations in the Youth Sector to put together and deliver successful projects. This session is a chance to meet the support team, share project ideas and to get some tips on how to get started with your international exchange project
11.00-2.30pm Global STEPS
Do you work or plan to work with young people and/or volunteers on global citizenship or international exchange experiences? If so, come along to this free pilot training.
Global STEPS is an online tool to help young people recognise, sell and improve the employability skills they develop during global citizenship experiences (international exchange, solidarity projects, peace or refugee projects).
In this pilot training, we’ll try out the tool, then look in more detail at how we can support young people to develop their transferable skills during international volunteering and global citizenship experiences. There will also be opportunities to share ideas, expertise and to network.
The session will be fully interactive. As a pilot, we’ll also build in some time and activities to collect your feedback.
This training is being delivered as part of the Raising Capacities for Global STEPS project funded by Erasmus+. The tool is being piloted in English in each of the 4 partner countries before we pool results and make improvements.
Depending on who registers and where they are located, we will either run this event online, in person or through a blended approach. Please register to express an interest and we will be in touch about the logistics nearer the time.
