19.30 Uniting Nations: One World Concert
Join Sir Karl Jenkins for a Landmark Concert, Honouring 80 Years of the United Nations. In this time of unparalleled turbulence in global affairs, the Eisteddfod returns to its peace-building roots.
The Uniting Nations concert is more than just music. The P5 Peace Child premiere convenes young artists from the 5 Permanent members of the UN Security Council (UK, USA, China, France & Russia) to co-create a powerful call for unity and peaceful collaboration on the existential threats like Climate Change that we rely on the UN to solve in its next 80 years. The survival of future generations depends upon it!
In partnership with Academi Heddwch Cymru, Wales’ Future Generations Commissioner Derek Walker will convey a short address for us all: an appeal from those yet to be born. Timing TBC.
