Step into a world where art, resilience, and peace converge. Immerse yourself in the captivating visuals of the “Portraits of the Hibakusha – 80 Years Remembered” exhibition, a collection of 52 holographic photographs created and produced by 80,000 Voices creative director Gina Langton, renowned photographer Patrick Boyd, and Soka Gakkai International.

Through the lens of Patrick Boyd’s camera, using specialised equipment and technology to create a 3D lenticular image of the subject, Patrick captures the indomitable spirit of the hibakusha, those who survived the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

This exhibition is a testament to the enduring resilience of the human spirit and a powerful call for peace. Each portrait tells a unique story, a narrative of survival and hope that transcends time and borders allowing the hibakusha to leave a lasting human record of national and global significance that can be exhibited for future generations.
