United Nations Nuclear Ban Treaty 2021 - Welsh Centre for International Affairs

Great news for global peace and human-nature coexistence! Today January 22, 2021 comes into force the UN International Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. This reality has only been possible after decades of campaigning by many organizations (including the CND in Wales/UK and the ICAN throughout the world), and marks the beginning of a more harmonious international arena.
