Volunteer in Wales

Are you from the UK or overseas, and looking to volunteer in Wales? Look no further! Whether you’re overseas or living in the UK, we have volunteering opportunities in Wales to suit everyone.

Our volunteering opportunities in Wales provide an excellent way of participating in a project without venturing overseas (for those who are in the UK), or an opportunity for overseas volunteers to engage in Welsh communities!

Archive-athon (Cardiff, April 5,6,12, and 13th)

Can you volunteer a few hours of your time, to help document the library collections of Wales’ Temple of Peace & Health? This series of workshops will aim to produce a complete catalogue listing of the Temple Library’s books and materials by the end of April 2022, so that they can be explored and accessed by students, researchers and peace campaigners in the future.

Mapping resources to the Welsh Curriculum

The WCIA is looking for a volunteer (bilingual if possible) to map resources to the ‘What Matters’ statements in the new Welsh curriculum, giving practitioners specific resources in English and in Welsh they can use to support the development of key skills, attitudes and behaviours in their pupils related to becoming ‘healthy, confident individuals’ and ‘ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world.’ This mapping will both support the policy case for peace education and also be a tool for teachers to share resources they have found useful and beneficial.
