Interested in transcribing some names, but not sure where to start?
We’ve arranged a new series of online sessions, with representatives from our outreach team. The timetable is:
The session will be an introduction to transcribing names, a chance to discuss any problems that arise as you try to register or for you to ask any questions that you have as you start the work – you are welcome to come to as many sessions as you like until you feel comfortable with the process.

There is also a lot of guidance available through the transcription platform itself. If you do make a start, please make sure that you read the step-by-step guidelines and FAQs carefully before you begin as this will avoid you running into problems later.
