“How, in the 100 years since World War One, have the people of Wales contributed to the search for peace?”
Between 2014-18, WCIA – supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund – worked alongside national and local partners Wales-wide to uncover the story of Wales’ “peace heritage”; ordinary people who have taken extraordinary actions to build a better world. Here is an overview of some of the key projects and achievements led by volunteers and community groups during the WW100 centenary period.
