Peace Schools Conference exchange participants at the host venue Montessori School in Maribor

In Nov-Dec 2022, school children and teachers from Wales, Turkey, Romania and Slovenia participated in an ERASMUS+ exchange visit to Maribor in Slovenia for a Peace Schools Conference, sharing learning and project ideas towards establishing an International Toolkit of collaboration and practice for peace schools worldwide.

For the 30 children participating, they developed international friendships and understanding.

One participant said: “No matter how different we are, from different countries, we should show people that it is not hard to be friends.”
