Petition Transcription Support – Summer 2024

Thanks to our amazing volunteers, we are close to reaching the milestone of 200,000 names transcribed from the women’s peace petition! Everyone is welcome to join us as we head towards the next 100,000!

The session will be an introduction to transcribing names, a chance to discuss any problems that arise as you try to register or for you to ask any questions that you have as you start the work – you are welcome to come to as many sessions as you like until you feel comfortable with the process.

There is also a lot of guidance available through the transcription platform itself. If you do make a start, please make sure that you read the step-by-step guidelines and FAQs carefully before you begin as this will avoid you running into problems later.
