From September 2025, WCIA and Cytûn (Churches together in Wales) unveiled at St David’s Cathedral the first public display of this co-created exhibition, ‘Faith for a Warless World’. Put together to mark the centenary of a remarkable world peace campaign that brought together the churches of Wales in the aftermath of World War One, it is thought to be the first documented demonstration of ecumenical (interfaith) cooperation after the 1920 disestablishment of the church in Wales.

This exhibition launched from Monday 6th October at St David’s, as part of the Cathedral’s wider programme for Libraries Week – alongside displays marking the 1700th Anniversary of the Nicene Creed (the defining statement fo Christianity agreed in 325AD), and the centenary of the Orthodox Patriarchs pilgrimage to St David’s of October 1925.

Exhibition for Loan from October – The exhibition is available for loan to community groups Wales-wide from October 2025 onwards, to support local events and activities by churches and congregations across the interfaith spectrum. Between 23rd November 2025 and 10th January 2026, WCIA will run a live online diary “Postcards from a Peace Mission – What they would have Tweeted“ social media feed following day-to-day the progress of the 1925 voyage to America by League of Nations campaigner Rev Gwilym Davies, featuring weekly postings from his digitised diary.

In December 2025, the anniversary of the Churches Peace Appeal’s presentation to the United States of America will be marked with a Centenary Lecture by WCIA, Academi Heddwch and Cytun.
