Global Citizenship with young ambassadors

On 27 July, WCIA delivered a global citizenship and futures workshop at a residential for Public Health Wales’ young ambassadors.

During the session, participants (aged 12-18) chose the global issue they were most interested in, explored what they already know about the issue and used futures thinking techniques to give a future vision for Wales and the world related to their chosen issue.

Focusing on equality and gender equality in particular, the ambassadors shared their concerns around equality, highlighting problems in housing, harassment, health case and abortion rights. From following world events and their own experiences, they were worried about a loss of rights in the future.

See the resources, presentation and flipcharts from the session on the Padlet below.
