From the 25th-29th September, young members and volunteers of The Alliance met in the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg, France to take part in the study session, “IVS4Youth”.
This study session worked towards gathering and building on ideas of the participants on how to increase youth involvements in IVS (International Voluntary Service) in order to provide meaningful intercultural learning experiences amongst young people.
From this training WCIA was able to build further knowledge through the lens of young people, by exploring, what “meaningful intercultural learning” meant to them.
It also allowed participants to share why they are involved in IVS and create a common connection of being a young person involved in IVS.
