Rev Gwilym Davies and the Peace Appeal from the Welsh Churches in December 1926, had a significant impact on the church leaderships across America. As today, they were operating within a highly polarised society environment where isolationism had taken hold, a fallout of the Great War. Wales’ message was an appeal to return to the ‘brotherhood of nations’.
